Welcome to the newsletter, and Happy Christmas!
I can't believe the year has nearly gone, and I've failed completely to get a newsletter out before now. Sorry to regular subscribers, and a warm welcome to new subscribers - it may be several months since you signed up for the newsletter!

The year has been very busy, with a number of Roadshows in the UK, and overseas ministry trips to Switzerland and Zimbabwe. More details of those trips are on the website (see the FW Blog section)

I hope you have had a good year, and wish you and your family a peaceful and joyful Christmas, and every blessing in 2008.

Peace Child DVD - new download version
As always at this time of year, online orders are especially busy. If you are still looking for ideas for your Christmas services and events, then one new item this year is a downloadable version of the Peace Child DVD, so you can order, download and burn your own DVD same day. We still also have a few Christmas Cards left, which can be ordered with or without the interactive CD Rom.

"Trust" - great new worship CD from David Lyle Morris
FW writer and friend, David Lyle Morris, has recorded a wonderful new live worship CD in his native New Zealand. "Trust" features excellent, anointed new songs that will encourage, reassure, challenge, and above all, inspire worship in the God in whom we trust. We are thrilled to be distributing this album in the UK via our secure online shop.

Roadshows - now booking for 2008
We've really enjoyed visiting a wide range of churches this year, of different sizes, denominations, in cities, towns and villages around the UK. But they all have the same thing in common - a strong desire to engage fully with the next generations of worshippers, and to develop services and activities that are relevant and accessible for all ages. As well as taking Sunday morning services, we have run workshops, holiday clubs, and church weekends.

If you are interested in exploring the possibility of a visit in 2008 for your church or area, check out the Roadshows page on the site, and drop us an email.

Heal Africa - DVD and CD's available now
After our visit to Zimbabwe earlier in the year to run a kids club in the capital city, Harare, we went on to South Africa, to meet a children's choir from Johannesburg that will be visiting the UK in April 2008. The children are mostly orphans, from very challenging backgrounds, and it was inspirational to meet them and to see the passion they have for music and worship. If you want to help support their trip, then please do consider ordering one of the African CD's, or the brand new DVD (which tells the story of how "Heal Africa" came to be recorded in Rwanda) from the FW shop.

More details also available on Dave Bankhead's website - www.weareone.org.uk

Christmas Knock Knock Jokes
Tradition dictates that this seasonal newsletter conclude with some corny, festive humour.

I think that Knock Knock jokes are quintessentially English humour, and are my favourite type of jokes. Recognising that we have subscribers from countries all over the world, I have no idea if they "translate", but if not, please forgive me, and come and visit us sometime - they work best in person!
